I love my dentist !

Hello everyone !!
Are you afraid of the dentist?  I used to be until I met Dr. Stewart Balikov of Beverly Hills.

It has taken 2 years but I finally have my pearly whites!  They are perfection. When I was a little girl, my father bought me a bicycle that was way too big for me. I ended up falling face first into the sidewalk......my permanent teeth were sanded down to nothing.  My mother was a struggling single mom and did the best she could for me.  I had crowns put on and was very happy.  As the years went by I became less enchanted with these crowns because they had silver at the base of my gums and it was visible.  The crowns were also pinching my gums which made them appear whitish.  I had lots of mercury fillings and two gold molars.....yikes !!!
When I first met Dr. Stewart, I told him right away that I wanted movie star teeth !!!  He looked into my mouth and told me I could count on gorgeous teeth but not until everything else was fixed.  So, he then proceeded to fix all my old dental work.  He took out my old mercury fillings, removed all my gold and old silver filled porcelain crowns.

I must say that I have always been terrified of the thought of getting shots in the mouth.....but with Dr. B you can’t even feel them...... and over the past two years I’m sure I have had at least 1000 shots easy!

Dr. B uses the best dental lab in the US called Opus One Laboratories ( http://www.opusonelabs.com ).  The gentleman who designed my teeth is named Uri Yarovesky.  Uri owns the lab and he is definitely an “artist.” When I told him how white I wanted my teeth, he fought me on it.  I said, “Uri, look at my hair and eyebrows, do I look like a gal who likes things to look natural” ....LOL .....  Doc B stepped in and said, well she has a point there.  You see, in the past Uri has had patients say they wanted snow white teeth but when he gave them what they wanted, they ended up coming back with the complaint of, “they are too white.” I assured him this would not happen......

So he got busy making the teeth.  When the big day finally came, I went to have them put in at Doc B’s office in Bev Hills (always on a Saturday morning).  Now there was tons of prep work before I could even get these teeth and I am not talking about the repairs I mentioned above.  When Doc B showed me the teeth in the box, they looked stunning.......  He put them in and shined a light on me and they looked brilliant.  But...... and it was a big but...... when I went home and looked into the mirror, I was crushed.  They were not white enough.  I was so upset......I tried to get used to them but just couldn’t..... They were the most expensive beautifully built temps anyone ever had...... but they were just that......TEMPS!!!  They were not what I had been dreaming of for the past 2 years.  Doc B agreed and off them came.... and that was no easy task! 

Doc B went back to Uri and told him........ and so he began again with the realization that I was dead serious about the shade of whiteness I desired.  I had to wear another set of temps for about a month before they were ready.

So last week I arrived at Doc B’s office as usual on a Saturday.  I was a little worried..... they better be right this time...... that x%*#@^ Uri!  When Doc B opened the box, I was dazzled!!!  He told me that Uri put a special undercoat of white in my caps and veneers (with no additional cost)!  They were perfect.  Jessica Simpson wishes she had my teeth !!!

I feel so fortunate to have met such a kind, generous person..... Doc B !  I never thought I would be able to afford what he has given me.  He is an amazing person and a brilliant perfectionist of a dentist.  Did I mention he studied at USC and is responsible for several playboy models teeth and the Raiders....... I hear those guys are big babies when it come to shots........  LOL

So if you need to go to the dentist, and you probably do..........call Doc B.... he is the best there is trust me !!!
